Benoit Aquin wins the Prix Pictet

Benoit Aquin, who's work was featured in the Spring 2008 issue of 8 magazine, has been awarded this year's Prix Pictet prize, a photographic award celebrating sustainablitiy, for his series on the desertification of China. Benoit bagged the 50,000Eur prize out of a shortlist of 18 photographers. Congratulations Benoit!
