BETHLEHEM
"As one approaches the Nativity Church, tranquillity is broken. There is much commotion.
Tanks drive through streets too narrow for vehicles. One tank, taking a wrong manoeuvre,
collides into a storefront and destroys it. Despite the danger of snipers,
a few Palestinians come out of their houses to protect the store and its merchandise.
When another tank enters the street, the people flee the scene and it is soon empty again."
